  • I live in an apartment complex. On July 26th, 2014, there was a storm and a tree planted on the premises fell onto my car. The apartment complex removed it two days later. They claim it was an "act of God", and won't cover the repairs for the damages to my vehicle. My question is this: Would this fall under the provisions in the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act, section 33-1324, Landlord to maintain fit premises?
  • I just recently moved from California and can’t see to find info on these admin and late fees. I paid a $265 admin fee during application process. After I moved in something went through causing that payment to bounce back. I received a 5 day notice to pay that says my “rent” is late and also assessed a $10 day late fee. 1. Can I be evicted over an admin fee. 2. Is this form correct in stating its “rent” 3. Are these late fees legal and can they evict me over them 4. Can I be evicted over a reversed admin fee?
  • My son is 11. My son doesnt want to visit his father as often as outlined in the agreement, because his doesnt feel comfortable at his fathers house. He comes home very upset after his visits, because his father talks bad about me, according to my son, every day. He says speaking up wont help, because he wont simply stop for an hour or two and then continue again.Can he choose not to see his father as oulined in the parenting schedule? And if so, how should he/we take go about it?
  • I am contacting you on behalf of a close friend. She is disabled and had two children one of which are disabled. She has a USDA loan on her home.(Nov.21st 2010) She made all of her payments on the first of the month when her disability check was deposited. Then in October of 2014 she called to make her payment and they would not accept it. Instead they told her that her home was in foreclosure. She has since tried every month to make her payment but they will not take it. I would greatly appreciate any help or advise. Thank you.

  • I rented a home for almost 8 years. We were never offered any carpet cleaning or paint the entire time we were there. The landlord about a year ago said they would give us paint but only with a new year lease. I heard that they are required to offer carpet cleaning and paint every 2-3 years. They are trying to charge us now that we've moved for carpet cleaning and new paint. Are they able to do that when we got nothing the whole time?

  • Guy gets nailed with low level felony (literally weakest felony). First offense, so judge says no jail time if person commits to probation, drug tests, anger management. Problem is guy decides to leave the state, violating probation etc. Cops come w/ warrant but no dice. After 10 years he wants to come back to AZ. Question: If cops get wind that he's back can he get arrested? Can he possess any weapons of any kind? What about those samurai swords people hang on the wall for decoration? Can he be charged for something like that under these circumstances. Thanks.

I was layed of from my job since March, Ive been working parttime, would I be albe to modify my child support and ask the court for alimony to , due to my youngest daughter illness that Iam needed to care for her. Iam renting 800 a month and i feel homeless, because I lived in his hometown for 28yrs and I had to relocate.
